By 1963, the days of the great 550 Spyder and its hybrids were coming to a close. With the big league competition heating up, the time had come for Porsche to move to more specialized racing car designs that owed less to the road-car technology of their ancestors.

The car that marked this historic turn was the 904 Carrera GTS. The 904 was one of the prettiest Porsche of all time: low, sleek, exquisitely shaped.

Dr. 914, in his continuing efforts to save all 914s, got inspiration from this car and styled a body kit reminiscent of the beautiful 904. By molding complete panels, the kit eliminates expensive rust of crash damage on an otherwise derelict 914.

The fabulous 9014 is now well on its way to the third and final revision. Wildly successful in its first two renditions as the ultimate way to save a rusty or smashed 914, this third design more closely resembles the classic 904 while being even easier to install by the father/son home hobbiest team! All of the provided body panels completely replace the factory parts so no body work is necessary other than paint prep.
