Make a selection NLA70100300 356's & 912's used three types of oil filters. The mann filter was used for the most part on early 356 (or pre "a") and possibly a few very early a's. This filter is identified by a 10mm bolt. The rest of the cars used either the h-filter (which is identified by a 16mm bolt) or the fram filter (which is identified by a 12mm bolt). Since there are no chassis or engine number breaks which denote the use of these filters, it is best to measure the bolt to identify your filter. Also, h-filter canisters are generally either all silver or silver with a black cover while fram canisters are orange with a black cover. General Fitment356 1950-59356 1960-65

Make a selection ACCC107095 This unique tool has been designed to measure the end play movement of the vw crankshaft without the use of a dial indicator. All that is necessary is a feeler gauge set and this tool. With the tool bolted to the end of the case, the feeler gauge measures the gap created by the end play. The taking of this end play measurement is necessary whenever a vw engine is rebuilt to prevent the rear main bearing from seizing up. A must for rebuilding one engine or many, this tool works on all air-cooled vw engines and Porsche 912 & 914 models. Imperative when installing a new flywheel, to recheck and set the rear end play! Make a selection 011484031 Products have promised hotter sparks for 50 years. We almost gave up waiting, until dyno tests proved that hotwires™ really work. The secret? Each wire houses a capacitor to accumulate the energy from the ignition until it discharges a more powerful spark. Even with a nearly perfect ignition system, we saw 2-4% more horsepower, better fuel burn and reduced emissions on our own dyno tests. If you have a dirty-running engine, hotwires™ will give you a better chance of meeting the new emission standards. Hotwires come in your choice of color- red, black, orange, yellow, blue, purple, or silver. Please indicate color choice when ordering. General Fitment924 1976-79924 1980-85
