This check valve prevents fuel from draining back into the tank when the engine is not running. We recommend replacing it when changing the fuel pump. Don’t be without this item when changing the oil. Too many replace the filter but don’t clean the strainer, resulting in dirtier oil long before its time.
All 356/912 engines have a steel plug in the bottom of the engine case to drain the oil. This plug has metric tapered threads and no seal ring is needed.
