This is the one! Original 1969 never been wrecked 912 Targa. Last
year of the model and best of the best. The only year with the long wheel base. Less than 750 manufactured.
This car is a great project for the home hobbiest or enthusiast, and has just been taken apart by another enthusiast who's wife got mad at him for cluttering the garage.
As you can see the car is very straight and complete but rusted in all of the usual areas. This car really needs someone to save it as unfortunately it is worth much more for the parts value than as a whole. The best thing is that this was a complete car when taken apart and all of the parts are with it as you can see by the pictures. I have captioned each one with more detail so you can get the complete picture. If you have any more questions please call me George Hussey, anytime at 404 308 5652

Engine was running when removed and dismantled. notice the newer fuel pump and the clean nice distributor. The engine is very dry looking and one heat exchanger looks good the other not so good
Every thing is there as you can see the generator fan and carb intakes shown in another picture. The engine has been stored inside and the ports plugged so cleanup and new gaskets and reassembly would be in order
Notice the newer flywheel and clutch assembly The engine mounts are on the engine as well
Original 1969 912 oil cooler looks dry as well
Car is very straight and has never been damaged as you can see by the pictures. Look at the inner fender wells!! Although the floor pan is the original it obviously needs replacement
Please notice the rust in the jamb, easily repaired. One of the nice things about this car is that Charlie, one of our local Porsche enthusiasts dismantled this car with the intention of restoring it until his wife entered the scene and saw how cluttered he made the garage.
Notice the very straight engine compartment. The extra wires can be easily removed. Rear panel is very straight as well
This car has nice wheels tires and hubcaps and was carefully taken apart and all of the parts kept with the car
Notice all of the parts and the hardware. Inner fender well is nice and straight
Even the targa top looks nice. Easily restorable for the home hobbiest with some welding skill
More pictures of the parts for this car. Are we missing anything??
Notice the rust mostly concentrated in the floor pan attachment points
