These days, rarely do we see an original owner 914 and a true survivor. This is one of those rare instances. Purchased new at North Lake Porsche-Audi in Tucker Georgia and carefully driven by its original owner 119 thousand miles until 2004, this garaged all of its life and lovingly taken care of car, shows its amazing original condition in the many photos we have taken of it. So impressed was Dr, 914 of this car that he took it under his wing to make it a car he would want to own and enjoy, and as you all know he has the highest standards. What he liked best about this car was the fact that it was an original and clean car that, with the miles and the fact that it had been repainted, it was a perfect candidate to drive and enjoy rather than suffering the low no mile original show circuit queen!!!!!!!

Never been damaged, rusted, undercoated, or out of the State of Georgia, this 914 still has its original bill of sale from the Porsche dealer, the complete owners manual packet, the tool kit, and the original owner's personal book noting every service to this car.

Having been siting in a garage since 2004, we performed a comprehensive list of minor restoration and servicing functions to make this 914 a dependable fly in, drive home, car. Below is a partial list and in no particular order: valve adjust
oil change
tuneup including points plugs condenser distributor cap rotor and spark plug wires fix aux air valve change filters (please remember that this model has the nice round paper filter rather than the messy oil bath type!
change transmission oil
replace clutch assembly (with all of the 19 pieces dr 914 recommends!!) replace fairly new Bursch muffler with a factory original one (the car deserved it!) lubricate all of the rubber suspension bushings replace one injector and injector seals remove and clean the fuel tank, replace filter and lower lines check all lights and replace bulbs as necessary replace the turn signal switch replace all four shocks with factory Boge (they were still the originals!!) replace the brake master cylinder rebuild all four calipers replace the four flex lines replace the two front rotors and the wheel bearings (rotors were good but one had a stripped lug bolt hole!!) replace front and rear brake pads check the heater system check the rear swing arms for tightness replace the accelerator cable rebuild the pedal cluster replacing the original plastic bushings with silicone bronze replace the side marker seals replace the rear window caps check and retention the alternator belt replace the pushrod tube seals reseal the rear window replace the rear lid to glass seal replace the complete set of shifter bushings replaced transmission output shaft input shaft and speedometer drive seals replace one trunk hinge cup and both trunk spring rollers replace the high low beam relay replace all upper fuel lines install a new battery and a battery mat replace the handbrake equalizer cable and adjust replace front targa top holder remove both door panels install new door latch seals one right interior door latch one door strap spring and new vapor barriers clean and lubricate door latching mechanisms (for easy locking and unlocking) lower front ride height just a bit

This car is now ready for the drive anywhere. If we were to pick it hard, here would be my picks If you upshift very quickly into second, sometimes there is a gear scratch down shifting is fine Weaker FM channels reception is poor, AM is just fine exterior rocker panels, roof and bumper faces should be painted semigloss as nice as this car is Michelin tires, although showing plenty of tread are cracked on the sidewalls Paint has several touched up ships and a bit of roughness on the front of the rear trunk lid, but an excellent paint job with no overspray and one that shines

And that is it!!! Drive and enjoy knowing that you have a lasting investment . Dr 914 has seen thousands of 914s in all conditions and approves of this one!
