1973 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe

We just found this Karmann Ghia resting in a storage unit right around the corner from our shop. As you can see by the many pictures it needs a little help, but is an excellent light restoration project. Originall from rust free Macon Georgia and then moved to Colorado, it has been in the same family all of its life transferred from sister to brother. Very straight and never wrecked, the only rust in the car is on the drivers floor board from getting in and out with wet feet. Someone got happy with the bondo, but it will all come off and just show light dents we are sure. The engine turns over but we suspect that it will need a rebuild. The car comes complete with most of its original tool kit, and owners manual and jack, as well as the original spare. Riviera mag wheels were installed years ago. Signal Orange is one of the better Karmann Ghia colors so when you are finished restoring this one, you will be proud to show it.
