We have owned this car since 1977. It was masterfully restored in 1979, having had only a floor pan installed, and a bit of the right front fender repaired from an old 60s collision repair. It has its original exterior and interior color combination of silver and burgundy, and matching Kardex first delivered to hoffmann in new york in march of 1960. It has all of its original parts including the numbers matching engine, rechromed hardware, blaupunkt frankfurt radio, genuine carrera wood steering wheel, and factory driving lights. The car will be delivered with a magnificently rebuilt 912 engine installed as seen in the pictures, plus the matching number original on a display stand (so two engines with the car), bilstein shocks, chrome wheels and by taste low profile tires, as the owner USED to drive it! Highly detailed with many never to be found again original parts (like a factory new steering box) you will not be disappointed.
