The original building, looking south, November 1978. We rented from a failed nursery.
The north side of the original building in November 1978 before moving in. It esd originally a gas station.
The front of the original building in November 1978 before moving in.
George's best friend, Frank's original 1975 914 as seen from the back of the original building around Novermber 1978 before we moved in. Dobbins Air Force Base is in the background. Frank and George had matching Malaga 1975 and 1976 2.0 914s.
Opening day, December 1, 1978. Boy these were some real classics!
Circa 1980. (The RX7 belonged to girlfriend Julie and the blue 914 to another girlfriend at the time! Those were the days! George's friend, Oliver Jones from CT, a fellow Porsche enthusiast and dealer resided in the building one month. The new look was great!
The new sign. George's 1973 Aubergine CIS Targa and a partial glimpse of the new siding on the building. (Notice the 1965 Buick Riviera in the background. George always had a soft spot for these cars ever since he and his Dad took delivery of a new one in 1964!)
Our original sign. Selling sports cars and as the economy was turning down, beginning to sell Porsche™ parts.
This is the new building around 1983 after we graded the front end. Notice George's 356 red roadster (that he still owns) and our collection of 914s even back then. We brought the sign from the first building.
Circa 1984 with George's first new car - a 1984 911 Cabriolet. Boy was that building raggy back then.
Fall of 1985. The original building before our renovations.
Another shot of our building around 1985 before renovations.
A bevy of beauties in front of the old building.
The beginning of a 914 event. Lined up and ready to go.
A much better look.
The beginning of the new construction of the 914 museum.
