Weekend Twenty-one

Sean was unhappy with the gauge wiring, so decided to clean it up and redo it. Of course we're using all Autometer Phantom gauges which look great and very modern. Click here to see the Phantom gauges we recomend. Also you'll need our aluminum gauge face. Ours in annodized black, but painting works great or keep it the shiny aluminum look. If you'd like the look we have achieved here then click here for ordering information for the complete gauge look with face in either white or carbon fiber gauges. The picture to the right shows our exlusive Dynamat engine insulating pad made to better than original specifications.
Here we are reinstalling the healight area, the relay board and finally connecting the gauges to the harness. See our electrical section for healight parts.
Sean puts the gauges and face back into place. Here you can see our white dash face also going in. Finally the the genuine dash fits on top completing the look. Nothing competes with the new dash for freshening up the 914.
We lay out all of our engine pieces. Now it is getting excited. Everyone, including Dr. 914, has consulted on the engine in this project. Our goal since the beginning has always been fuel injection and to modernize it. Our friend Len has machined, flycut, polished and ported our heads and installed sodium valles throughout. Click here for remachined heads or you can upgrade to our extreme heads by clicking here. Matt will be assembling and installing our engine with our extreme fuel injection kit.
