Weekend Twenty-two
Engine work has begun!! Matt is putting the engine together. Cylinders and heads have gone onto the engine along with new pushrods and pushrod tubes.
Sean has placed the final piece of the white dash face and then moved onto the turn signal bucket, new turn signal gaskets (which we manufacture ourselves) and new European lenses which AutoAtlanta makes.
Matt has added the factory oil cooler back to the engine. We also decided to modify the intakes for the fuel injection and grind them down to match the stacks for more HP and performance.
Matt continues to refine the fuel injection kit. We have named this new kit the "Extreme Fuel Injection Kit" and we will continue to chronicle why.
As Matt finishes the intakes, Sean has assembled the left rear tail light housing and the right rear tail light housing and then installed them.
Matt then sandblasted a fan housing and clear coat it.
Sean spread out all the front suspension and begins his plan for assembly.
Matt install the fan housing and more sheet metal. See our engine page for more information.
Matt placed a distributor for valve adjustment and Sean has assembled our front suspension.
