Boxster / 996 Corrosion Prevention Tips
|
- You
must clean out debris from outside bottom corners of the
radiators (front of car) at every service. Damp leaves,
etc. lead to corrosion problems and expensive new radiators.
The front bumper skin must come off to replace them!
- The
horns may hold water and stop working if positioned wrong.
Make sure the horn bells face slightly downward to allow
water to drain out.
- If
the headlights retain moisture, clean out he draft tubes
located in the front center of the car. These tubes are
placed to that passing air creates a vacuum to ventilate
the headlights, much like a carbeurator or airbrush.
