| On a 968 944 s2 or 928 four
cam engine, when doing the timing belt do not disturb the
30mm wrench size nut on the cam gear or the 10mm 12 point
bolt on the end of the cam wheel as that will disengage the
sprocket from the cam and allow the timing to be off by several
degrees. Although there is a key way for this gear there is
slop in it for fine adjustments.
