With the installation of a 3.6 L or 3.8 L 996/997 engine into a 986 Boxster or 996 3.4 L, the DME (ECU) needs to be changed to the new generation to accomodate the correct CAN bus signals._x000B__x000B_After the engine conversion the AC is no longer function. This is due to the DME (ECU) expecting a digital signal from the remaining controllers, instead it is receiving an analog signal._x000B__x000B_Our module converts the analog signal into a digital signal, so the air conditioning will function properly.
