Window regulators are responsible for lowering and raising the windows. If you are experiencing the window rising more slowly, are having a tougher time winding or noises when winding then check the regulator. We also recommend replacing the lifter rail at the same time as they can rust, deteriorate and fail. No sense in paying more in labor to repair the rail later.
