This reproduction regulator replaces the long-discontinued "Black Box" Bosch voltage regulator which sits on the firewall in the engine compartment. This new part fits exactly like the original regulator, with all holes aligning to the ones on the firewall including the round rubber grommets. Much development time went into this regulator and it's performance; it can handle up to 50amps, enough for the points inside not to burn. This model is for 12 volt cars or early 6 volt cars converted to 12 volt systems.
