Pagid RST2 Medium to High Friction Compound Front Brake Pads

Pagid racing compounds are complex formulations with very high content of ceramic materials. The difference to competitors metallic compounds is the superior thermal insulation and the higher heat resistance of ceramic compared to iron. Ceramic has a very low heat conductivity, so less brake disc temperature goes through the pad to the caliper. Pagid have measured up to 140 degrees farenheit difference in temperature compared to competitor pads. _x000B_ _x000B_Pagid uses a unique and patented system to ensure the friction material does not delaminate from the steel backing plate. The friction material is attached to the backing plate in two ways, adhesive bonding and mechanical retention. Pagid is the only race pad that features a retention system which not only connects the steel backing plate with the under-layer, but also with the friction material itself. _x000B_ _x000B_Pagid RST brake pads were developed exclusively for use in Sprint Racing and Rally competition, with high average friction, aggressive instop behavior and instand pedal response.
