This steering rack is a Remanufactured Part with a core, as such an additional charge (a core deposit) will be added to the purchase price of the part. After receiving your new part, kindly send back your old part, or core . Once the core is returned to us and it has been inspected to ensure it is rebuild-able and resell-able, the core deposit will be refunded. The remanufacturing process includes full inspection and testing for structural integrity. We then disassemble and bead blast to remove corrosion. Internals are micro-finished to OEM specifications. Sealing surfaces are carefully checked and restored prior to installing new premium seals and O-rings. Each unit is then carefully tested for full functionality.
