This sachs performance clutch disc with organic friction material has a superior thermal resistance and is more resistant against rpm 's than oe discs. It is also able to transmit higher torque. This disc has a less aggressive start performance than a rigid centered disc due to its torsion springs. Torsion springs function as a vibration damper between engine and gearbox, allowing for a wider release window in 1st gear. It makes this disc more suitable for street applications and light track use. Sachs performance clutches are assembled by hand.
