This sachs racing 4 puck disc with sintered metal plates and torsion springs has a higher friction coefficient than plates with organic friction material. That allows for higher transmittable torque and makes them more dirt and oil resistant. This disc has a less aggressive start performance than a rigid centered disc due to its torsion springs. Torsion springs function as a vibration damper between engine and gearbox allowing for a wider release window in 1st gear.
