This is a litronic headlight control unit for the cars with the m601 litronic headlight option. Odds are that if one has failed the other will fail shortly thereafter. We recommend replacing both the right and left together. Sold individually. It is also a good idea to replace worn gaskets, new headlight gaskets, part # 99363190700 and purchase new mounting brackets, part # 99363119600 and mounting rivets, part # 99919011930. Also inspect your head light lenses and bulbs, now is a perfect time to replace them.
