Cabriolets are not known for having great acoustics inside the passenger compartment. However, the new Porsche Boxster high performance audio system changes all that. Explicitly designed for the interior and layout of the Boxster, the system delivers outstanding performance with either the roof on or off. The specially designed amplifier delivers two channels of 160 watts each, powering 2 ohm speaker sets. Two high-quality mid-range/tweeter systems coupled with a dual bass system in the door deliver incredible sound while being elegantly integrated within the Boxster 's interior. Installation requires some knowledge of stereo installation, but in general is not too complicated. Beethoven or boston, the music will blow you away.
