This flange houses the fuel injector port. It sits between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. It suffers from an intense amount of heat and can develop cracks and damage. It is critical to replace once damage occurs. We also recommend replacing the gaskets, part # 93011019710 sold individually. 6 necessary per car.
