Contact your sales person for more accurate numbers depending on your plans for the motor. Mahle pistons are forged for substantially higher and more uniform strength over pistons that are cast. Mahle cylinders are manufactured from st52 steel which has extremely high thermal resistance, they are nikasil coated which reduces wear and friction. Installation is made easy as the pistons and cylinders are slip fit and do not require machine work to the housing, they are also factory quiet as the piston pin bore is off centered. We take things on step further to ensure reliability by having the piston rings (sealing and oil scrapers) pre-installed.
