please note:the 997.2 tt has a pressure sensor that measures backpressure. A lack of backpressure with any exhaust system and will be picked up by the sensor and adjust or reduce the power accordingly. Without a software file the exhaust system is just for sound only. Once a FVD program is added you will achieve 580 + hp.

FVD is proud to introduce our newest exhaust offering for the 997.2 tt. Dubbed the cat-back muffler, this system answers the need for a muffler that works with the OEM cats for warranty purposes. The internal design is a free flowing open which gives the 997.2 turbo 's exhaust note the added boost that it needs. The stock muffler is a 3 chamber design which slams both exhaust banks into on another. That creates unwanted heat and added backpressure, which robs power and sound. The FVD cat-back muffler gives the 997.2tt a slightly more menacing growl while keeping the interior as quiet as stock. Equally important this system is modular and can grow with your power and sound needs in the future. Along with the cat-back muffler we have developed our cat-back line of catalytic converters. The catalytic converters are available in 200 cell, 100 cell or cat bypass that work seamlessly with this muffler.
