After receiving your new part, kindly send back your old part, or core . Once the core is returned to us and it has been inspected to ensure it is rebuild-able and resell-able, the core deposit will be refunded. If your starter is on its way out, you will notice an intermittent clicking noise and a delay in the vehicle actually starting. Eventually you hear a metallic screeching noise that is a sure sign that your starters bendix mechanism, bearings or solenoid are kaput. When ordering a new starter be sure to check the rubber cap on the terminal for cracks which allows moisture in and it is a good idea to check your starters hardware as well.
