Our k-16 remanufactured turbo is cost competitive and is a direct replacement. Simply send us your original k16 turbochargers and a borg warner / kkk certified technician will remanufacture your turbo. The remanufacturing process includes full inspection to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble, degrease and completely clean it. Once fully prepared, we will replace the turbine wheels, thrust bearings, install new seals, recondition the internals and high speed balance the turbo. This ensures reliability and superior performance for many years to come. The remanufacturing is done on an exchange basis only. You must send us your original k16 turbocharger. After receiving your part, we will inspect it to ensure it is rebuild-able. If we cannot remanufacture your turbo we will notify you as soon as we can. Arrangements can be made for its return to you. We do not offer a core exchange on this part. Each turbo is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary. A typical lead time from the u.s. Would be 3-4 weeks. We recommend purchasing one of our prepackaged turbocharger installation kits, part # FVDmk123993 please note: this service is only for the k16 turbocharger. This pricing is based upon a fully functional turbo. If yours is not working there may be additional charges. Once the technicians see the turbos they can quote you the additional repair cost.
