With the success of our vr825 kit achieving a 206.2mph at the texas mile event in march 2010, we thought we had squeezed the most we could out of the 997 turbo. But we were wrong. This is where we introduce our vr900. Built and based off all the principles and products of our other kit, the vr900 goes 1 step further with larger injectors and a special custom tune from us. Having proved its power capabilities in cars all over the world, we reflash the ecu via the obdii port to make the 997 turbo a true monster. With increased fueling from 80lb injectors over the stock 57lb ones, we are able to run the 997 turbo to a new level. Our test vehicle was a 2009 997 turbo tiptronic and on 93octane at 1.5bar of boost, we were still slipping all 4 wheels on our mustang dyno while putting down 788awhp. The mustang dyno generally has a 20-25% drivetrain loss from crank horsepower. Do the math and that is over 900bhp. What makes the vr900 kit just as unique as our vr825 kit is its usuability and driveability in normal conditions. The cars are smooth, idle normal, and at partial throttle, cruise through the streets like any other un modded 911. However when you take that throttle to 100%, your 911 turbo becomes an animal with 1 goal in mind and that is to rip the heads off whatever is in its way!



The core of the vr900 kit is based around garrett GT3076 .63a/r turbochargers. With a 4inch compressor inlet, these ball bearing turbos spool up making peak torque at around 5000rpm. Making 400ft/lbs of torque at 3800rpm and almost 550ft/lbs to the wheels at 4500rpm, there is power to be used in any driving situation. In conjunction with the garrett turbos, we utilize tial 44mm or turbosmart gate40 .8bar external wastegates which bypass the stock exhaust system to create brain punishing torque at full boost. The use of these turbos and wastegates requires special headers as the fitment is different then stock. Our headers are hand built in-house using 16 gauge, 304 stainless steel that is tig welded. Our thick water jetted flanges and custom made merge collector provides you the best performance. The headers bolt to the heads the same, except use a 4 bolt flange to mount the garrett turbos and require an extension just off the collector for the external wastegate. The turbos cannot make the power on their own and require additional products that we have manufacturer specifically for the vr900 kit. In addition to the headers to mount the turbos, you must also change the oil and water lines.
