4A0721261 When the clutch pedal is depressed, the hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder engages a piston in the slave cylinder to actuate the clutch fork to release your clutch pedal with little effort. If the slave cylinder develops a leak or fails, it will be far more difficult to engage or disengage the clutch to shift gears. Replace your leaking or failing slave cylinder with this quality OEM (original equipment manufacturer) replacement, designed to perform like the original. We source this part in Germany to ensure quality, reliability and precise fitment. Sold individually. 1 necessary per car. Please note: for the 986 2.5 l Boxster with g8600 5 speed manual from 08/1996-07/1999

Make a selection 99731416600 The manual transmission turbo models use a hydraulic accumulator. If it is beginning to fail, you will experience a very heavy clutch pedal when the engine is not running. Once the car is started and begins to warm up the pedal becomes less heavy. You can also feel that the pedal is very notchy in certain spots. We always recommend replacing the accumulator when installing a new slave cylinder. Also, replace the accumulator o-ring, part # 99970722440 for 993 and 996 turbo and o-ring, part # 99970752940 for 997 and 997-2 turbo. Original part # for the 993 turbo was 993 314 166 00, it has been superseded since then. Sold individually. 1 necessary per car. View/Change Diagram
