The bulkhead mount is for the serious six conversion. Welded in by a competent mechanic, it allows you to eliminate the four cylinder mounting pods allowing more clearance for valve adjust, easy removal of the rear shift bar and most importantly shifts the center of weight further forward to the factory recommended position.
