Original factory grommet for the head temperature sensor lead that seals the air from leaking out of the cylinder cover. installs under the passenger right side intake tube in the cylinder cover

ājā pipes were installed between the branch piece and the cylinder cover on all models. These grommets fit between the ājā pipe and the cylinder cover and are critical to engine cooling.
This is the oval grommet with the nipple head for all 914 applications. Two are required for the engine shelf and two are required for the master cylinder to reservoir lines where they pass through the floor pan hump. Four required for the four cylinder models and three for the six cylinder models. Sold each.
Boy the factory got this one wrong. Nice reproduction of the original factory alternator cable grommet. perfect for the fussiest concours enthusiast and much more correct that the flat grommet the factory offers!
We recommend replacing this grommet when installing a new air temperature sensor. Your original grommet has become brittle and non-compliant overtime, best just to update it.
