Always change this filter every 12000 miles. your fuel injection system depends upon it! it is located in the rear near the fuel pump, and is an easy replacement.
If your car tends to be stored for long periods of time and you experience fuel pump failures, be sure to check the fuel tank strainer. As these cars sit the strainer screens tends to build up with contaminants, the lack of fuel in the pump due to the blockage will destroy a fuel pump relatively quickly. When performing a fuel system service, we recommend that you replace this in tank strainer. Sold individually. 1 necessary per car. Please note: for the 924 models, this only fits the years 1976-1979.
