Our 911 Sanden kits offer many benefits over the original York compressor found on the early 911 and 930 up through 1983. The Sanden uses a "wobble-plate" to move five smaller pistons as compared to the York that uses a crankshaft to move two large pistons. The Sanden wobble-plate design requires less horse power to turn and is a better match for the condenser area. Our Sanden kit uses less engine compartment space and less horse power to turn. You will notice it runs smoother and quieter and improves system efficiency. The Sanden compressor and it's mounting bracket bolt directly to the original York sub-plate. You can purchase our Sanden Kits in four configurations to match your objectives and budget: from bare bones compressor with essential replacements to complete system overhaul, such as brand new hose lines made of barrier hose with bead lock crimped fittings. Our new barrier-hose lines reduce system refrigerant loss. All Sanden kits include our exclusive "high-low" pressure cut-out switch feature. The switch prevents the system from running when the high side pressure is either too low or too high. This special features helps to prevent compressor failure and is required by the EPA in certain applications. We offer our Sanden Kits in either R12 or R134a with the following configuration: New Compressor with clutch, mounting bracket and hardware; New compressor to rear condenser barrier hose line with factory crimped fittings and high-low pressure switch feature; New compressor to evaporator barrier short hose; with factory crimped fitting on the compressor side, you cut and splice to old line using a barb fitting with clamps supplied in the kit; New drier.
