Sport Throttle Body 993 - REMANUFACTURED - 1994/95 Models Only - Send In

The remanufacturing process includes full inspection of your throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble and bore the original to a 2.80 inch (70mm) diameter. The entire throttle body is cleaned, degreased and the internals are polished to create more laminar flow. We then machine the shaft to accept larger butterfly's which seamlessly match the bore. All clearances are checked for precision to ensure reliability. Each throttle body is remanufactured in Germany, so the lead times can vary. FVD Throttle Body Remanufacturing Process: Inspection Disassembly Bored to 2.80 inches (70 mm) Polished to allow laminar flow. Cleaned Degreased Larger Butterfly is installed to match the bore. Clearances are checked for precision. Send us your Original Throttle Body and we will have it Remanufactured for you. We do not offer a core exchange on this part as new throttle bodies are becoming very hard to obtain and are very costly.
