if your 2.0 engine bucks occasionally at a steady speed, the throttle switch is worn. easily replaced, especially the 2.0 throttle switch is notorious for wear. this device acts very much like an accelerator pump on a carb. it increases the duration of injection for faster acceleration as well as turning off the injectors momentarily until the engine returns to idle. when it wears, it unexpectedly turns of the injectors causing momentarily loss of fuel and the bucking. it can be checked easily by disconnection. if the bucking goes away the switch is worn. install the throttle switch and adjust by connecting an ohm meter between pins 17 and 47 and rotate the switch until zero ohms is observed _x000B_Known as: throttle-valve switch
