VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune

The 2010 - 2012 997 Gen II GT3 is one incredible street/track car. Having owned one as a street car, we can tell you that the initial torque and throttle response can be improved. As you rev past 2000 rpms, the GT3 starts to come to life. However it is not until you get to about 4500 rpm that the 3.8L gets faster that expected. The VR Tuned ECU flash was developed to focus on improving the cars entire power curve. Adjusting the cars timing and air fuel mixtures, the throttle response is much quicker and the low end torque comes to life faster. Heel and Toe throttle blipping is more easily done and the entire car is more enjoyable to drive on both the street and track. As tested on our in-house Mustang AWD Dyno, using 91 octane, our flash provided a gain of _x000B_25 wheel horsepower and 16ft/lbs of torque. _x000B__x000B_ _x000B_Wheel Horsepower _x000B_ Stock - 360HP and 252ft/lbs _x000B_ Tuned - 385HP and 268ft/lbs _x000B__x000B_ _x000B_Crank Horsepower _x000B_ Stock - 444hp _x000B_ Tuned - 473hp _x000B__x000B_With the VR Tuned ECU Flash, basic bolt-on performance parts will not require a retune of your ECU. Adding parts such as an exhaust, headers, air intake, throttlebody and plenum, will all adjust with the tune. Raising the secondary O2 limits for cat delete or high flow cats as well as raising the rev limiter is available upon request. If you add higher octane fuel, the ECU will adjust accordingly. Anytime you add higher octane, the fuel will burn slower providing your vehicle with improved performance. We never recommend using leaded gas such as C16 as this will destroy your O2 sensors and catalytic converters.
