The 2009 - 2012 Porsche 987 2.9L DFI Cayman | Boxster is a load of fun to drive and out shines its competition in class. With some additional programming to adjust the cars timing and air fuel mixtures, we are able to gain improved performance on the 2.9L engine. The biggest difference when you flash the 987 is the overall improvement of the power curve. The car has much better throttle response whether the PDK or 6speed transmission. Where the car is sluggish off the line, the newly flashed car picks up right away and pulls harder through the mid and top end RPM range. Adding parts such as an exhaust, headers, air filter, will all adjust with the tune. Custom features to remove CEL's from cat inefficiency codes or raise the rev limiter may be available upon request. If you add higher octane fuel, the ECU will adjust accordingly.
