If you are experiencing over boost, odds are your wastegate diaphragm is torn or leaking. We are finding more and more failures on these diaphragms with our classics. We strongly recommend replacing them with the addition of an upgraded boost spring, part # FVD123110 . We also recommend replacing the pressure switch, part # 93060610100 High quality, German made, turbocharger wastegate diaphragm membrane.
